And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

Luke 2:49

Last December 5, 2018, Thailand celebrated its Father’s day which is also the birthday anniversary of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Our church celebrated it in a special way by visiting our elderly friends in Yanhee Nursing Home.

Yanhee Nursing Home is just a stone’s throw distance from Yanhee Adventist Church located within the Yanhee Hospital area. The nursing home provides care and assistance for the elderly people– those who are well but needs assistance and also those who have chronic diseases and couldn’t take care of themselves. We used to visit our friends on Sabbaths when we can. And couldn’t let this occasion pass without visiting them and showing our love to them.

We thank God for this opportunity to see their smiles, give them tokens of love, fill their atmosphere with music, prayers and give them a touch of love. All the love and the right impulse is from Him, our Father.

Bro. Jhun filled the atmosphere with good music through his saxophone.

This special day is a reminder for us that just as what Jesus did when He was here on earth, He went about doing His Father’s business everyday. And because of this, it should be our prayer that may every day be a “Father’s Day” for us!
